The HTC One is due to go on sale in both a blue and red version in the coming months. HTC's flagship handset has been applauded for its good looks and emphasis on design, so a new set of colour offerings is fairly unsurprising.
The phone currently ships in only black and silver. The red HTC One was revealed accidentally in May when it was posted on the company's US website and on that of UK online retailerHandtec, priced at £503.
Press shots of the red version of the phone have been leaked, but a photograph of the blue phone is still to be seen.HTC has previously launched limited-edition coloured metal versions of its handsets. The HTC Legend, for example, was shipped in red in just a short run of 50 handsets. There is also a special anodised One S and even a Purple Rhyme phone that was specifically designed for "girls".
No release date information is available just yet, but expect the new coloured HTC One handsets to fly off the shelves. Or at least they should: they just look so damn good.
